CGI and the Tasmanian Department of Education received an award at the 2014 Tasmanian ICT Industry Awards.
The ‘TasNetworks Best Community Application of ICT’ was for the data warehouse (Edi) project where CGI was the primary contractor for the Tasmanian Education Department. CGI contracted Heartburst Digital to plan and design the user interface.
Nick Dubé worked with the team on site in Hobart. Nick recalls, ‘For CGI, the project involved mining massive amounts of data; our role was to present the summary information clearly and allow users to drill into the detail. We developed a design system, elements and icons that have been used accross the application’.
CGI specialises in business consulting and systems integration. CGI has collaborated with Heartburst Digital (formerly Dubé Creative) on a number of projects over the past few years, including the National HPV Vaccination Program Register and an innovative smartphone app for Melbourne Water.
